For polishing, two polishing sponges, one sanding pad holder and 8 P3000 and 8 P5000 abrasive pads are available to sand the surface to the desired smoothness. Part of the set is six more polishing wools to help finish the headlights. One set is sufficient to renovate two headlamps twice, occasionally.
It is easy to use and consists of three main steps.
Smoothing section
Before treatment, the headlights should be washed with a car shampoo. Subsequently, it is advisable to glue the edges of the hood, wings, grille and bumper so that the surrounding surfaces are not damaged during grinding. The slightly coarse P3000 sanding sheet (colorless adhesive back) should be placed on the supplied gray sandboard holder and then, after wetting, sand the headlamps with slight pressure until a steady matte surface is obtained. The abrasive residue should be removed with a polishing canvas and then repeated the process with the P5000 ultrafinom sandboard (red adhesive side).
Polishing section
The Sonax headlamp polish should be applied to the white side of the attached polish sponge and polished with medium pressure until the lost brightness of the headlights is recovered. If necessary, the varnish should be kept constantly. At the end of the polishing, it is worth removing the residue with a clean polishing canvas.
Seal
To persist in the headlamps, the supplied sealant should be poured into a linen and then the smooth and polished surfaces should be wiped out. After a short wait, the excess material should be wiped with a dry polishing canvas. A bag of headlamp material is sufficient to treat two headlamps.
This headlamp polishing kit allows you to renovate your headlights in a simple and cost -effective way without need expensive replacement or workshop work. The result is clean, shiny and long -term protected headlights that significantly improve the appearance of the car but also to drive safety.
