The 3M Conspicuity Marking Series 957 contour foil is made of a large, aluminum -based carrier with a material that has adhesive and protective film on the back. Thanks to the new manufacturing technology, the reflective layer forms a substance with the aluminum -based carrier and therefore does not lose its reflective ability for a long time. Microprism -like reflective foils were made of 3 layers, so they may have lost their reflective ability over time. The new aluminum carrier foils eliminate this error, so they are much more durable than previously used microprism reflective tapes.
