Stone uptrend
A product for permanent repair of minor injuries caused by windshields and lampshade pebbles.
The inventory components are similar to those used in professional service shops, so they guarantee quality improvement. The kit is made to repair the stabbing of minor injuries such as "eye" or "star" stones up to 3 cm in diameter, but is not suitable for repairing "spider" long cracks.
Easy to use according to detailed instructions.
1. The set contains a UV-sensitive resin (UV resin). Repair it in a shaded place, then expose it to sunlight to harden.
2. The windshield must be at room temperature during the intervention! Depending on the season, turn on heating or air conditioning before repairing until you reach the acceptable temperature.
3. Use goggles and gloves when repair. To avoid injuries, cover the hood to prevent the material from placing the painted surface of the body! You will also need a sharp knife or blade and needle.
Instructions for use:
1) Use a needle to remove loose pieces of glass from the crack. Clean the area around the injury and wipe dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
2) Remove the cover foil from one side of the adhesive cup, and with this side and the label, glue it up to the glass so that the inner hole borders the center or deepest point of the crack. It is important that the sticker is adhered to the glass, so pressing it slightly on the surface!
3) Drag the top cover layer and press the plastic applicator to the sticker firmly, making sure the edges and labels of both parts are in line.
4) Remove the cap and cut off the tip of the resin tube. Then insert the tube to the applicator's neck and carefully press it to fill it with material, taking care not to leak. Close the remaining resin and keep it for later use, see Step 8!
5) Now, insert the syringe around the applicator's neck and hold the piston with one hand firmly with one hand and secure it in the lower cut (Figure 7). Used to fix the wire clip on the injector. Leave this position for 10 minutes!
6) Pull out the injector from the applicator for a few seconds and then press it firmly. While holding it firmly with one hand, pressing the piston with the other hand and securing it in the top cut. Leave this position for 20 minutes.
7) Choose and set aside the syringe and gently disconnect the base label with the sticker from the glass with a sharp blade (image 9). Grab the loose end and slowly pull it off. Wipe the area from excess resin.
8) Drop 1-2 drops of resin from the tube to the middle of the crack and cover with the foil in the kit (Figure 10). Press all the bubbles with the blade. Take the car into direct sunlight and let it solidify for about 15-60 minutes depending on the intensity of the sunlight!
9) After hardening, remove the foil and excess resin. Then clean the bottle with an alcoholic detergent or cloth.
